Strength and Balance
The class, run by Grampian Opportunities, develops strength, improves balance and builds confidence in those who attend. The exercises are performed either sitting or standing. Resistance bands, balls and ankle weights are used when appropriate. The class is designed to be progressive as the weeks go by so strength and balance improves and different exercises may be used to challenge further, while allowing people to work at their own pace.
Our instructors are qualified fitness instructors and experienced in leading exercise to people with varying abilities and those with long term health conditions.
The class runs from 11:00 – 12:00 with an opportunity for socialising from 10:30 – 11:00 and 12:00 – 12:30.
