About Us

Grampian Disability Sport (GDS) is a charitable organisation made up of athletes, parents, sports development professionals, coaches and people with an interest in disability sport. GDS leads in the development of sport for people with physical, sensory or learning disability in partnership with key local agencies in the three local authority areas of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray.

Our aim is to ensure that high quality sporting opportunities are on offer throughout Grampian, and that people with disabilities across the region are given the opportunity to reach their potential in sport.

Our activities include coach education, sport and activity development, supporting athletes and clubs at all stages, and running our own programme of events. Please get in touch if you’d like to get involved or hear more about what we offer.
