Grampian Schools Snowsports Festival (AM)

Pupils will be supported to take part in skiing and tubing at the Adventure Aberdeen facility at Garthdee, Aberdeen.

Accessibility to the slopes is hilly so please be advised that this event may not be suitable for those with moderate to severe mobility difficulties or wheelchair users.

Each session will accommodate a maximum of 16 children split between 2 groups.

Pupils with disabilities or additional support needs from primary or secondary schools in Grampian are welcome to attend. The event is a partnership programme between Active Schools Aberdeen, Active Schools Aberdeenshire, Scottish Disability Sport & Grampian Disability Sport.

Pupils should be accompanied by school staff or a parent/guardian during the session.

Pupils should wear comfortable sports clothing, which should include long sleeves, clothing which covers the knees, socks and gloves. Pupils should also bring a drink and snack with them.

Please note that data will be shared between Grampian Disability Sport, Scottish Disability Sport, Active Schools Aberdeen, Active Schools Aberdeenshire, Live Life Aberdeenshire & Sport Aberdeen for the purposes of planning the event. Data will not be shared with any wider organisations.

Sport Aberdeen will invoice the schools/individuals for payment for booked pupils following the event. Please note that in the case that pupils are absent on the day for any reason, the school/parent will still be billed for their space in order to cover costs.
